It is exponential increase, so:
[tex]A(n)=500\cdot(1+3\%)^{(n-1)}\\\\ \boxed{A(n)=500\cdot(1+0.03)^{(n-1)}}[/tex]
and
[tex]A(6)=500\cdot(1+0.03)^{(6-1)}=500\cdot1.03^5=500\cdot1.16\approx\boxed{579.64}[/tex]
